Thank you so much for spending your time reading my stories. While I love writing, I would also love to spend lots of time traveling to various hospitals, burn camps, schools and individual homes where I can talk and help people understand that just because you have a scar, it doesn’t mean that your life is over. Life is always worth living, and things always get better. Accidents break us, but they don’t make us and ever since I was in my accident, I knew that I was meant to do something that was much bigger than myself relating to burns and to helping empower all people, but with a slight focus on women.
I remember when I was young and had an even bigger burn scar on my face, my mom gave me a makeover–she got my hair cut and styled, did my makeup, put me in cute clothes and then did a photo shoot with me. I felt so beautiful and it was a nice little escape. I want to be able to provide that sense of escape to others. There are so many things I would like to do with my contributions. So your donation no matter how small, will be used on good.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you, thank you for your donation
